In order to further promote the construction of China Nuclear Power City, accelerate the development of nuclear power related industries in Haiyan County and the entire Zhejiang Province, and provide strong support for industrial development, February 21-22, Member of the Advisory Committee of Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and Zhejiang Provincial Development Planning Institute Deputy Chief Economist Zhu Liming led a delegation to China Nuclear Power City for investigation.

 

At the symposium, Zhu Liming and his party and nuclear power experts conducted in-depth discussions on several key issues such as the development prospects of nuclear power related industries, development measures and policy support. Experts have expressed that the overall development of nuclear power related industries in Zhejiang Province is relatively fast and has unique competitive advantages in some areas. They proposed that in the next step of developing nuclear power-related industries and building China Nuclear Power City, it is necessary to make full use of existing advantages, strengthen the foundation of Haiyan's nuclear power-related industries, accelerate the cultivation of Haiyan's leading local enterprises, and accelerate the pace of nuclear power. At the same time, they hope that the provincial government and China National Nuclear Corporation Strengthen cooperation, introduce relevant supporting policies, promote the accumulation of the province's nuclear power related industries in Haiyan, establish a provincial nuclear power related industry alliance and service building in Haiyan, and enrich the connotation of China Nuclear Power City.

 

Zhu Liming said that under the current "Zhejiang Nuclear Power Related Industry Development Plan" framework, further in-depth research will be conducted on the development policy support and specific measures of nuclear power related industries, and the preparation of the provincial "China Nuclear Power City Plan" and "China Nuclear Power City’s Provincial High-tech Industrial Base Planning, etc., to build China’s Nuclear Power City into a provincial-level high-tech industrial base and actively apply for a national-level high-tech industrial base. At the same time, learn from the successful experience of other provinces and cities to improve the development level of nuclear power related industries in our province, especially nuclear power equipment manufacturing and service industries, and provide a strong guarantee for the construction of China's nuclear power city.
